The A618 Smart Bus Validator integrates advanced RFID technology, a GPS positioning module, and GPRS/Wi-Fi wireless communication capabilities, making it suitable for a wide range of applications—including public transportation fare collection, electronic payments at scenic spots and amusement parks, employee shuttle identity verification, and school bus safety management systems.
Powered by a robust ARM9 core processor running at 240 MHz and operating on the Linux 2.6.17.14 system, the device comes equipped with 32 MB SDRAM and 512 MB NAND Flash memory (expandable up to 32 GB via TF card), ensuring efficient and stable performance. It can store up to 100,000 detailed transaction records locally, while unlimited remote storage is supported through GPRS. Additionally, it accommodates a blacklist of up to 2 million entries, which can be updated via USB from a PC.
The validator supports real-time data uploading through 2G/3G/4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or USB, offering flexible deployment in both online and offline environments. Designed for harsh conditions, it operates reliably in temperatures ranging from -25°C to 75°C and humidity levels of 0–90% (non-condensing).
User-friendly features include a 5-inch LCD display (800×480 resolution), red/green status indicator lights, four rear-mounted operation buttons, and a voice prompt system supporting 15 types of audio messages (e.g., “Student Card,” “Employee Card”) at 16 kHz / 16-bit quality.
